As a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Assignment in Atlanta, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. Our Unarmed Patrol Officers at a financial institution location conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help to deter security-related incidents, and support employees and visitors with outstanding customer service and communication. Requirements

• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• Proof of a high school diploma or GED is required by the client.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or vendors while carrying out site-specific procedures and supporting security-related protocols at a financial services location.
• Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate observations to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility, lobby areas, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
• Monitor access points and help to verify authorized entry by following visitor, employee, and/or contractor access procedures and reporting discrepancies or suspicious activity.
