As a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Alarm Investigation in Lithia Springs, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a logistics and distribution location, you will conduct routine patrols, monitor access points and alarm activity, and help to deter incidents through a visible presence. Requirements

At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Experience with alarm panels is preferred.
Experience with access control and badge systems is preferred.
Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of warehouse, distribution, loading dock, parking, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual activity or conditions.
Monitor access points, visitor and vehicle activity, and deliveries according to site procedures; complete required logs and reports.
Communicate observations, incidents, and policy concerns to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership in a timely manner.
