About The Position

As a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Agent in Alpharetta, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-related protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a technology-focused location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting details and communicating relevant information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the property, including office areas, common spaces, parking areas, and perimeter locations, helping to identify unusual activity and/or security-related concerns.
• Monitor entry and exit activity, verify credentials and/or visitor access as directed by site policies, and help to support a professional environment for staff and guests.
• Observe and report maintenance issues, hazards, and/or policy violations, and assist with assigned security-related duties that support daily operations and business continuity.
