As an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a dynamic transportation location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support travelers, visitors, and staff through strong customer service and communication. Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, passengers, employees, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a transportation location.
• Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report details according to site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout terminals, public areas, parking areas, loading zones, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify access permissions when required, and assist with directing foot and vehicle traffic in accordance with location rules.
• Document daily activities, observations, and/or incidents in logs or reports, and communicate relevant information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
