As a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Activity Monitoring in Miami, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As an unarmed Security Officer in a premier retail and mall location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming experience for guests, tenants, and staff. You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate clearly, and respond professionally to concerns. Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, shoppers, and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout retail and mixed-use areas, including walkways, entrances, parking areas, and the surrounding perimeter, to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and observe activity throughout the location, reporting suspicious behavior, maintenance concerns, and/or policy violations to the appropriate personnel.
• Prepare accurate incident reports and maintain clear communication with site management, law enforcement, emergency responders, and Allied Universal leadership as needed.
