Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, where you will conduct routine patrols, perform driving patrols, monitor access points, and support daily security-related operations. Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Access control and badge experience is preferred.
  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access control practices, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a manufacturing and industrial location.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting security-related concerns according to site protocols.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout production areas, warehouse spaces, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
  • Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or visitor logs, and support screening procedures for deliveries, contractors, and authorized personnel.
  • Communicate with site contacts, supervisors, and/or emergency personnel regarding incidents, operational disruptions, and security-related matters while maintaining professionalism at all times.
