You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, assist with loss-prevention awareness, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. Requirements

• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• Proof of a high school diploma or GED is required.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• The ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
• Loss prevention experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service to clients, associates, and visitors at a luxury retail location while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the retail sales floor, stock areas, entrances, exterior perimeter, and adjacent common areas to help identify unusual activity and help deter unauthorized access or loss-related concerns.
• Monitor customer and visitor activity, report suspicious behavior, policy violations, hazards, and maintenance concerns to site leadership and/or Allied Universal management.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols and documenting actions taken.
• Assist with access control, visitor interactions, and the protection of high-value merchandise through professional presence, observation, and timely communication with appropriate personnel.
