As a Security Officer Unarmed - Logistics Site in Charleston, SC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a fast-paced logistics and distribution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support access control and site operations. You will communicate professionally with employees, visitors, and delivery personnel while delivering exceptional customer service. Requirements

• Have at least one year of security-related experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet, preferred.
• Have customer service experience, preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Respond to incidents, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established reporting procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of shipping and receiving areas, loading docks, parking areas, building perimeters, and other assigned locations.
• Monitor access points and observe activity involving personnel, visitors, and delivery vehicles, reporting unusual conditions to site leadership and/or Allied Universal management.
• Maintain accurate activity logs and incident reports while helping to deter unauthorized access and other security-related concerns.
