You will complete routine patrols, stay visible to help reduce security-related incidents, respond to concerns, and communicate clearly with staff, patients, and visitors while delivering outstanding customer service. Requirements

  • Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and post orders at a healthcare location.
  • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, common areas, parking areas, and the perimeter, documenting observations and reporting maintenance hazards, policy concerns, and suspicious activity.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including assisting with de-escalation and coordinating notifications to site leadership and/or public emergency services as directed.
  • Support access control by monitoring entry points, verifying credentials when required, managing visitor check-in, and helping to direct foot and vehicle traffic as needed.
  • Complete detailed incident reports, shift logs, and other documentation, and communicate updates to onsite contacts and Allied Universal supervision.
