Requirements

  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Must be able to meet hospital vaccine requirements.
  • Must be able to work in and/or around a hospital morgue.
  • Must provide proof of a high school diploma or GED.
  • Must be able to restrain individuals.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, screening protocols, and/or emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
  • Screen patients, visitors, staff, and/or vendors at designated entry points in accordance with site procedures, including monitoring access points and directing individuals as needed.
  • Respond to incidents, access concerns, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report observations to the appropriate personnel.
  • Support visitor management activities by checking credentials, confirming authorization, and documenting required information according to site guidelines.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around assigned areas and perimeter locations as directed, noting unusual activity and helping to deter unauthorized access.
