As a Security Officer Unarmed Field Patrol in Dallas, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Cultural Institutions, and more. In this unarmed patrol role, you will support daily operations through strong communication, teamwork, and integrity while contributing to a caring, reliable, and innovative environment.

Requirements

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Possess at least 5 years of security-related experience.
• Possess at least 4 years of military or law enforcement experience or a degree in criminal justice.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, staff, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a cultural institution location.
• Respond to incidents, guest concerns, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while following post orders and reporting procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout galleries, exhibit spaces, lobbies, entrances, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or unusual behavior.
• Monitor access points and public areas, assist with wayfinding and crowd flow during events and daily operations, and document security-related observations, incidents, and/or maintenance concerns.
