As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support access control activities. You will provide exceptional customer service and clear communication while working as part of a team. Requirements

  • Possess at least 2 years of security-related experience.
  • Possess at least 2 years of law enforcement, military, and/or corrections experience.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Be comfortable using a computer or tablet preferred.
  • Have access control and badge experience preferred.
  • Have customer service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a manufacturing and industrial location.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols.
  • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of manufacturing areas, parking areas, access points, and the facility perimeter to help identify and report unusual conditions.
  • Monitor access to designated areas, verify credentials as directed, and document visitor, contractor, and delivery activity in accordance with site procedures.
  • Complete accurate daily activity reports, incident documentation, and shift handoff communications for Allied Universal and site leadership.
