You will conduct routine patrols, monitor access points and alarm activity, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and provide professional customer service and communication. Requirements

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, drivers, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating issues according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of warehouse areas, loading docks, parking areas, trailer yards, entry points, and the surrounding perimeter.
• Monitor access points and help verify that personnel, visitors, and deliveries follow site entry and exit procedures.
• Document patrol observations, incidents, and unusual activity in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific reporting requirements.
