As a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol in Kutztown, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Alarm panel experience is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.
Access control and badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and/or employees by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the distribution facility, loading docks, trailer yards, parking areas, access points, and perimeter to help identify unusual activity and report observations.
Monitor access to the location by checking credentials, directing visitors and delivery personnel, and maintaining required visitor and vehicle records.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; communicate observations to site leadership and/or emergency responders as needed.
Document patrols, incidents, and policy violations in accurate daily activity reports and complete required shift handoffs.
