As a Security Officer Unarmed Driving Role in Halethorpe, MD, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities within a retail location.
• Respond to incidents, customer concerns, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report details according to site guidelines.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the store, entrance areas, parking areas, and perimeter, noting unusual activity and/or conditions that may need attention.
• Monitor foot traffic, assist with access and loss prevention support measures, and help to deter unauthorized activity through visible presence and routine observation.
• Communicate with store leadership, team members, and/or emergency responders as needed regarding security-related matters, disturbances, and/or policy concerns.
