As a Security Officer Unarmed Driving Role in HOPE, AR, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed Security Officer at a dynamic food and beverage location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, stay visible to help deter security-related incidents, and support access control operations. Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Access control and badge experience is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • A guard card and/or license is preferred.
  • Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or vendors by following site-specific procedures and supporting security-related protocols at a food and beverage location.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate details to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership as appropriate.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, production-adjacent areas, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and observe unusual conditions.
  • Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or visitor access as directed by site policies, and document security-related events, observations, and incidents in a timely manner.
  • Support emergency response activities according to post orders, including assisting with access control, directing foot and vehicle traffic, and reporting hazards or maintenance concerns to the appropriate personnel.
