Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a commercial real estate location, where you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and help to deter security-related incidents through a visible presence. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver’s license. You will also support tenants and visitors with professional communication and customer service while working as part of an agile, reliable team that leads with integrity.

Requirements

  • At least 2 years of security-related experience is required.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at the location.
  • Respond to incidents, maintenance concerns, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting relevant details and communicating with property contacts as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols throughout the property, including common areas, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter points, to help identify unusual activity and/or potential issues.
  • Monitor access points, observe activity across the location, and report suspicious behavior, property damage, hazards, and/or policy violations to help support daily operations.
  • Assist with routine security-related tasks such as checking doors, gates, lighting, and vacant areas, while providing a professional presence for a commercial real estate environment.
