As a Security Officer Unarmed Driver Route Patrol in Atlanta, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an unarmed Security Officer supporting a government location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, manage access control, and maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. This driving position offers the opportunity to provide outstanding customer service, communicate professionally with visitors and staff, and contribute to a welcoming environment. Requirements

  • At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Access control and badge experience is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and members of the public at a government location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established protocols and notifying appropriate personnel and/or public services as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of government facilities, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
  • Monitor access points, verify authorized entry as directed by site policies, and maintain awareness of visitor and employee activity.
  • Prepare accurate reports and logs of incidents, observations, patrols, and other security-related activities in accordance with Allied Universal and site requirements.
