As a Security Officer Unarmed Driver Route Patrol in Atlanta, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an unarmed Security Officer supporting a government location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, manage access control, and maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. Requirements

At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 21 years of age.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Access control and badge experience is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and members of the public at a government location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established protocols and notifying appropriate personnel and/or public services as needed.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of government facilities, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
Monitor access points, verify authorized entry as directed by site policies, and maintain awareness of visitor and employee activity.
Prepare accurate reports and logs of incidents, observations, patrols, and other security-related activities in accordance with Allied Universal and site requirements.
