As a Security Officer Unarmed Driver Route Inspection in Milpitas, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a logistics and distribution location, you will conduct routine patrols, monitor access points, and maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
  • Access control and badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to employees, visitors, drivers, and/or vendors by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and policies at a logistics and distribution location.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility, warehouse areas, loading docks, parking areas, access points, and perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity or conditions.
  • Monitor access to the location, verify visitor and contractor authorization as directed by site procedures, and maintain accurate logs and records.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following emergency response procedures and promptly notifying appropriate personnel.
  • Report security-related incidents, maintenance concerns, and policy violations to site leadership and Allied Universal management in accordance with established procedures.
