You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, respond to concerns, and deliver exceptional customer service and communication. Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • A guard card or license is preferred.
  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • CPR/First Aid certification is preferred.
  • Ability to lift up to 20 lbs is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and/or vendors at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; communicate observations to appropriate site contacts and/or emergency responders.
  • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the business location, interior areas, parking areas, and perimeter to help identify unusual conditions and help deter unauthorized activity.
  • Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site procedures; verify credentials, provide directions, and document entries, exits, and incidents as required.
  • Prepare accurate reports and maintain clear activity logs for patrols, incidents, and security-related concerns in alignment with Allied Universal and site requirements.
