As a Security Officer Customer Service Patrol Agent in FAIRFAX, VA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Utilities, and more. Requirements

• This is a primarily driving post.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR/First Aid certification is preferred.
• Access control/badge experience is preferred.
• 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, staff, and/or contractors by following site-specific procedures and supporting security-related protocols at a utilities location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or unusual activity in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report details according to site expectations.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, grounds, access points, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
• Monitor entry and exit activity, check credentials when appropriate, and document security-related events, maintenance issues, and/or policy violations.
• Support emergency response activities when appropriate, including communicating with site contacts, directing foot traffic, and assisting with incident documentation.
