As a Security Officer Unarmed Badge Patrol in Maple Grove, MN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As an unarmed Security Officer at a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, support access control, and assist visitors, patients, and staff with professionalism. Requirements

  • At least one year of security-related experience is required.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Access control and badge experience is preferred.
  • Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • CPR certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to employees, visitors, vendors, and/or patients by carrying out site-specific procedures and security-related policies within a healthcare-related location.
  • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior and exterior areas, including entrances, parking areas, business operations spaces, and perimeter locations, to help identify and report unusual conditions.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; follow site-specific emergency response procedures and notify appropriate personnel.
  • Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site requirements, documenting observations and reporting access concerns or policy violations.
  • Complete required activity reports, incident documentation, and shift communications accurately and in a timely manner.
