As a Security Officer Unarmed Area Patrol in Houston, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Auto, and more. Join Allied Universal at a dynamic automotive location as an unarmed patrol officer, where you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and remain visible to help reduce security-related incidents. Requirements

Be at least 21 years of age.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at an automotive location.
Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner while documenting relevant details.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the property, including showrooms, service areas, parking lots, and perimeter locations, to help to deter unwanted activity.
Monitor access points, observe visitor and vendor activity, and report unusual conditions, maintenance concerns, and/or policy violations to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
