Requirements

Valid Driver's License
21+ years of age
Have ability to pass a background check, drug screening, and physical exam
Ability to obtain AOA badge (Federal Background Check in ordinance with DOT requirements)
Be at least 21 years of age.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to visitors, passengers, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at an airport location.
Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and sharing information with site contacts and/or public agency partners as needed.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout terminals, public areas, access points, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and report unusual conditions.
Monitor entrances, restricted areas, and nearby activity for policy compliance, assisting with access control, directional support, and other security-related duties.
Support daily operations at a government location by following post orders, communicating clearly with supervisors and/or local authorities, and completing routine reports and logs.
