Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic government transportation location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. Requirements

  • Valid Driver's License
  • 21+ years of age
  • Have ability to pass a background check, drug screening, and physical exam
  • Ability to obtain AOA badge (Federal Background Check in ordinance with DOT requirements)
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to visitors, travelers, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities as appropriate for the location.
  • Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting activity and communicating with site contacts and public agency personnel as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of terminals, public access areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unwanted activity and identify unusual conditions.
  • Monitor access points, observe foot and vehicle traffic, and report suspicious behavior, unsecured areas, and/or policy violations in accordance with site protocols.
  • Support day-to-day operations at a government location by providing directions, assisting with crowd management, and following post orders related to security-related concerns and customer interactions.
