As a Security Officer Unarmed - Afternoons in Greenville, SC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As an Access Control Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor entry points, manage badge access, and respond to alarm panel activity while providing exceptional customer service and communication. You will help maintain an orderly environment, support security-related procedures, and remain a welcoming, professional presence. Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Alarm panel experience is preferred.
  • Access control and badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to employees, contractors, visitors, and delivery personnel by carrying out site-specific access control procedures, policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Monitor access points, verify credentials and visitor authorizations, issue temporary access credentials, and maintain accurate entry and exit records for the manufacturing and industrial location.
  • Respond to access-related incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns according to site procedures.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, production-area perimeters, parking areas, and other assigned locations to help deter unauthorized entry and identify security-related concerns.
  • Communicate professionally with site personnel and Allied Universal leadership regarding access control activities, unusual conditions, and incident documentation.
