As an Unarmed Patrol Officer supporting a financial institution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, respond to alarms and access-control concerns, and provide exceptional customer service. You will use communication and computer skills to document activities and assist employees, visitors, and customers. Requirements

• At least two years of security-related experience is required.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and staff at a financial institution by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established reporting procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter to help identify unusual activity and help deter unauthorized access.
• Monitor access points and observe visitor, employee, and contractor activity in accordance with site-specific requirements.
• Document patrols, incidents, and other security-related observations accurately and communicate relevant information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
