Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Customer service experience is preferred.
CPR/First Aid certification is preferred.
CPR certification is preferred.
Access control/badge experience is preferred.
A Security Professional Guard Card or applicable license is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and guests at a technology-focused location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of office areas, common spaces, entrances, parking areas, and the exterior perimeter to help identify unusual activity and support access-control procedures.
Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify authorization as directed by site policies, and report unauthorized access attempts or other security-related concerns.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established escalation and communication protocols.
Prepare clear and accurate reports of patrols, incidents, observations, and security-related activities, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.
