As a Security Officer TWIC Patrol in Westlake, LA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a chemical/petrochemical location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, support access control, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. Requirements

Possess a Transportation Worker Identification Credential issued by the Transportation Security Administration.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Access control and badge experience is preferred.
A guard card or license is preferred.
A state, county, or city-issued security-related license is preferred.
Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate at a chemical and petrochemical location.
Respond to incidents, alarms, hazardous-material concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site procedures and notifying appropriate personnel.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, process areas, access points, parking areas, and the perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
Monitor access control points, verify credentials and visitor authorization, and maintain accurate logs of personnel, vehicles, deliveries, and incidents.
Report observed hazards, equipment issues, policy violations, and suspicious activity to site leadership and/or emergency responders in accordance with established procedures.
