As a Security Officer TWIC Patrol Role in Tampa, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a busy logistics and distribution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver exceptional customer service and communication. This role offers the chance to support daily operations in a dynamic environment while reflecting Allied Universal values of agility, reliability, innovation, teamwork, and integrity in every interaction.

Requirements

A TSA-issued TWIC is required.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
The ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to visitors, vendors, and/or personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a busy logistics and distribution location.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns according to site expectations.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, loading and unloading areas, access points, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
Monitor entry and exit activity for vehicles, deliveries, and/or visitors, following post orders and reporting irregularities involving restricted areas, gates, or shipping and receiving operations.
Communicate with site contacts, drivers, and/or supervisors regarding security-related concerns, operational disruptions, and incidents that may affect daily location activity.
