Requirements

  • A TSA-issued TWIC is required.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to the location.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or unusual activity in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner and report details according to site protocols.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, grounds, access points, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
  • Monitor entry and exit activity, verify credentials and/or visitor information as required, and communicate with site personnel regarding security-related matters.
  • Document incidents, observations, and/or daily activities in required reports and relay important information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.
