About The Position

Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a dynamic logistics and distribution location, where you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and remain visible to help deter security-related incidents. You will support daily operations through strong customer service, clear communication, and a people-first approach that reflects our values of agility, reliability, innovation, teamwork, and integrity.

Requirements

• A TSA-issued TWIC is required.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• CPR and/or First Aid is preferred.
• The ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a busy logistics and distribution location.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and document observations according to site guidelines.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of terminals, warehouses, loading areas, parking areas, access points, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or unusual conditions.
• Monitor entry and exit activity for employees, visitors, vendors, and deliveries, and report policy violations, suspicious behavior, and/or operational concerns to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
• Support cargo and transportation operations by maintaining a visible presence, communicating clearly with site personnel, and following post orders related to traffic flow, restricted areas, and/or incident response.
