About The Position

As a Security Officer TWIC Credential Driver in Houston, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
  • A TSA issued TWIC is required.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to visitors, vendors, and employees by carrying out site-specific access control procedures, badge and credential checks, and other security-related policies at an industrial location.
  • Monitor entry and exit points, verify authorization for people, vehicles, and deliveries, and document visitor activity in accordance with post orders and location protocols.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with site contacts and/or emergency responders when appropriate.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around buildings, production areas, parking areas, and perimeter points to help identify unusual activity and/or access concerns.
  • Prepare clear reports on incidents, maintenance issues, policy violations, and daily activities, and report observed concerns to Allied Universal leadership and/or designated site personnel.
