As a Security Officer - Tech Media Patrol Driver in University Park, IL , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a leading technology location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help create a secure environment. Your visible presence will help to deter security-related incidents, and you will deliver exceptional customer service while communicating clearly with all visitors and staff. Requirements

A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as responding to emergency situations when appropriate.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm and problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and its perimeter to observe and report any unusual activity, helping to deter unwanted behavior.
Monitor entrances, exits, and sensitive areas within the premises to help maintain a secure environment for employees and visitors.
Communicate clearly and promptly with Allied Universal management and/or site representatives regarding incidents, observations, and daily activities.
Document all incidents, observations, and activities according to Allied Universal and client site requirements.
Assist employees, visitors, and/or contractors with general inquiries and directions while maintaining a professional presence.
