Join Allied Universal as an unarmed Patrol Officer at a chemical and petrochemical location, where you will conduct routine foot and/or vehicle patrols, support access points, and respond to alarms and unusual activity. With a valid driver’s license, you will help maintain a visible presence, document observations, and deliver professional customer service. You will be part of an agile, reliable, and innovative team that puts people first and acts with integrity.
Requirements
- Have 1+ years' armed security-related, law enforcement, and/or military experience.
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
Nice To Haves
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
- Alarm panel experience is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to clients and visitors by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to an industrial location.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including coordinating notifications and documenting actions taken.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, production-adjacent areas, and perimeter routes to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations.
- Monitor access points and controlled areas by checking identification and/or authorization as required, directing deliveries and contractors, and reporting irregularities.
- Complete detailed reports of patrols, incidents, and observations, and communicate timely updates to site leadership and/or Allied Universal supervision.
