Job Description As a Security Officer - Tech Patrol Driver Weekdays in SOUTHLAKE, TX , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a leading tech and telecom location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, support access control, and communicate clearly with staff and visitors. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver’s license, with mobile patrols and response to security-related concerns across the site. Requirements

  • A minimum of 6+ months of security-related experience is required.
  • Applicants must be 21+ years of age.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • CPR certification is preferred.
  • Access control and badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to staff, visitors, and contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a technology and telecommunications location.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of interior areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, and perimeter points to help to deter unwanted activity and/or identify hazards, irregular conditions, or maintenance concerns.
  • Monitor access points and report unauthorized entry attempts, suspicious behavior, and/or policy violations to site leadership and/or Allied Universal supervision.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, providing assistance, documentation, and coordination with onsite teams and/or public services when requested.
  • Complete detailed shift activity reports, incident reports, and patrol logs using site reporting tools, and communicate significant updates during shift change briefings.
