As an unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a leading aerospace and defense location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and stay visible to help to deter security-related incidents. You will respond to reports, document activities, and deliver outstanding customer service through clear communication and teamwork. This is a driving post, requiring a valid driver’s license in line with AU Driver Policy requirements.

Requirements

  • Have 1+ years of security experience.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to employees, contractors, and visitors by following site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and post orders, and/or supporting emergency response activities as directed.
  • Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of buildings, production areas, parking areas, and perimeter points to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify unusual conditions.
  • Control access at designated entry points by checking credentials, managing visitor check-in and badge processes, and directing authorized personnel to appropriate locations.
  • Respond to alarms, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, coordinating with site representatives and/or public responders when needed.
  • Complete shift logs, incident reports, and other required documentation, and communicate observations and status updates to the Allied Universal supervisor and/or site contacts.
