About The Position

As a Security Officer - Driver Roving Patrol in Lebanon, IN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Auto, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a busy automotive location, you will monitor assigned areas through vehicle and foot patrols, remain highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and respond to calls with clear reporting. You will support employees and visitors with professional customer service and communication. This is a driving post, requiring a valid driver’s license and compliance with AU Driver Policy Requirements, while working within Allied Universal’s agile, reliable, innovative, integrity-driven culture.

Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to site visitors and employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities as needed.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including contacting site leadership and/or emergency services when appropriate.
  • Conduct regular and random foot patrols throughout the automotive dealership and service areas, showrooms, offices, and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and/or identify maintenance or operational concerns.
  • Control access at designated entry points by monitoring visitor traffic, greeting guests, and verifying authorization in accordance with site procedures.
  • Complete patrol and incident documentation using required logs and/or reporting systems, and communicate observations to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
