About The Position

As a Security Officer - Patrol Driver in Wichita, KS, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. Join Allied Universal at a leading aero and defense location as an unarmed Patrol Officer, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and deliver clear, professional customer service. Requirements

  • A minimum of 6+ months of security experience is required.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to site personnel and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, production areas, parking lots, and perimeter routes to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify hazards or policy concerns.
  • Monitor access points and verify authorization for entry, supporting visitor management and directing individuals to the appropriate check-in locations.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting issues to site contacts and/or Allied Universal supervision.
  • Perform routine checks of doors, gates, and security-related equipment, reporting malfunctions, irregularities, and/or required follow-up actions per post orders.
