As a Dispatch Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned tech and media locations, helping to deter security-related incidents and responding promptly to alarms. You will play a key role in maintaining a secure environment through routine patrols, clear communication, and exceptional customer service. Requirements

  • Must have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
  • Must possess an active Department of Defense Secret Clearance.
  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • A guard card or license is preferred.
  • Alarm panel experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a technology, media, or telecom location.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
  • Monitor and operate communication systems to dispatch security-related personnel and coordinate responses as needed.
  • Maintain accurate logs and records of all activities, incidents, and communications for reporting purposes.
  • Support the security-related team by relaying pertinent information and assisting with coordination during emergency and/or routine situations.
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with internal and external stakeholders to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or access.
  • Follow all site-specific protocols and procedures as outlined by Allied Universal and the client site.
