Job Description As a Security Officer - Utilities Dispatch Specialist in Carmel, IN , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Utilities, and more. As a Dispatch Officer within a utilities location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and help to deter security-related incidents while delivering outstanding customer service and communication. You will play a key role in managing access control and badge procedures. This is a driving position. Requirements

Must be at least 21 years of age.
A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Must have 5 years of industrial security-related experience or 2 years of military, law enforcement, emergency medical technician, or fire department services experience.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Customer service experience is preferred.
Experience with access control or badge systems is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as responding to emergency situations when appropriate.
Monitor and coordinate communication between field personnel, emergency responders, and site management to facilitate timely responses to incidents and critical situations.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
Maintain accurate records of calls, incidents, and dispatch activities as required by site policies.
Utilize communication equipment to dispatch security-related personnel and relay important information across the location.
Assist in managing access control by verifying credentials and monitoring entry and exit points as needed.
Support Allied Universal management and site leadership by maintaining awareness of ongoing activities and reporting any unusual circumstances.
