You will conduct routine patrols, respond to alarms, and remain visible to help to deter security-related incidents. Requirements

  • Access control or badge experience is preferred.
  • A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
  • Alarm panel experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and following site-specific policies, as well as responding to emergency situations when appropriate.
  • Monitor and operate dispatch communication systems to coordinate security-related activities and response efforts at the commercial real estate location.
  • Receive, document, and relay information regarding incidents, emergencies, and service requests to the appropriate personnel and/or authorities.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism in all interactions.
  • Maintain accurate records of activities, incidents, and dispatch communications as required by site protocols.
  • Support security-related operations by coordinating with on-site personnel and mobile patrols as needed.
