Job Description As a Security Officer - Dispatch Tech Campus in Morrisville, NC , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As a Dispatch Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in monitoring and coordinating security-related activities within a dynamic technology-focused location. Your responsibilities include conducting routine patrols, remaining visible to help deter incidents, and delivering outstanding customer service and communication. Requirements
- At least one year of security-related experience is required.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and respond to security-related incidents and dispatch appropriate personnel as needed within a technology-focused environment.
- Provide customer service to clients by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Maintain detailed records of all calls, incidents, and dispatch activities, ensuring accurate and timely documentation.
- Communicate professionally with staff, visitors, and emergency services to relay critical information and coordinate response efforts.
- Assist in the coordination of security-related operations and monitor access control systems to help to deter unauthorized entry.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating issues as necessary.
- Utilize communication tools and technology platforms to manage dispatch operations and support site security-related needs.
