About The Position

As a Security Officer Tablet Reporting Patrol in Chantilly, VA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Customer service experience is preferred.
Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Access control and badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to visitors, drivers, and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and document observed activity according to site procedures.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout loading areas, warehouse spaces, parking lots, trailer yards, and perimeter locations, with working environments and conditions varying by site.
Monitor access points, verify authorized entry, and report unusual, suspicious, and/or unauthorized activity to help support security-related operations.
Assist with traffic flow, vehicle screening, and/or receiving and shipping area observations to help support orderly site operations and help to deter policy violations.
