Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Access control and badge experience is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an aviation location.
  • Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with site contacts and/or emergency personnel as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of hangars, terminals, offices, parking areas, airside-adjacent perimeters, and other assigned areas, with working environments and conditions varying by location.
  • Monitor entry and exit activity, verify credentials and/or visitor authorization, and report unusual activity, maintenance issues, or policy violations to the appropriate personnel.
  • Complete routine reports and logs related to patrol activity, incidents, and daily operations, while following Allied Universal standards and site-specific post orders.
