About The Position

OPS Security Group is seeking a dedicated and experienced Full-Time Unarmed Security Officer Supervisor to oversee the 4 PM to 12 AM shift. This role involves supervising and supporting security officers, ensuring proper staffing, conducting patrols, training staff, and maintaining documentation. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, previous security experience, and the ability to work a flexible schedule.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED required.
Previous security experience required.
Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to write clear and accurate reports.
Basic computer skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office.
Reliable transportation and the ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
Must successfully pass a background check and drug screening.

Nice To Haves

Prior supervisory or team lead experience preferred.
Military, law enforcement, or corrections experience is a plus.
Experience supervising security operations in retail or industrial environments.

Responsibilities

Supervise and support security officers during assigned shifts.
Ensure all posts are properly staffed and provide coverage when needed.
Conduct roll call, post inspections, and routine patrols.
Train, coach, and mentor security officers on site procedures and company expectations.
Maintain daily activity reports, incident reports, and other required documentation.
Respond to incidents, emergencies, and customer concerns in a professional manner.
Communicate staffing needs, attendance issues, and performance concerns to Operations.
Ensure officers maintain a professional appearance and follow company policies.
Serve as the primary liaison between the client, Operations, and security staff.
Assist with scheduling, shift coverage, and overtime needs as directed.
Perform additional duties as assigned.
