Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients at a tech and telecommunications location by following Allied Universal post orders, security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response protocols as needed.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including documenting activities and communicating updates to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of offices, equipment areas, parking lots, and perimeter spaces to help to deter unwanted activity, with working environments and conditions varying by site.
  • Monitor access points and verify credentials, manage visitor check-in and badge control, and/or coordinate with site teams for deliveries and contractor access.
  • Complete accurate reports such as incident logs, patrol documentation, and shift handoffs using site systems, while supporting compliance with client policies and Allied Universal standards.
