Job Description As a Security Officer - Dealership Reception Desk in Camden, NJ , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Auto, and more. As a Front Desk Officer at an automotive location, you will welcome employees and guests, manage visitor check-in, issue badges, and support access control while monitoring cameras, alarms, and other security-related systems. You will respond to questions and incidents with clear communication, accurate reporting, and a service-first mindset. Requirements

Have 5+ years of security experience.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

CPR Certification is preferred.
Guard Card/License is preferred.
Customer Service Experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to visitors, employees, vendors and delivery drivers by carrying out site-specific policies, access procedures and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an automotive office location.
Staff the front desk by greeting and directing visitors, answering phones as assigned, and issuing visitor badges and/or temporary credentials according to site procedures.
Monitor lobby activity and security-related systems such as cameras, alarms and access control panels, and document observed issues for follow-up.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including contacting onsite management and/or emergency services when needed.
Complete required reports, incident documentation and shift logs accurately and on time, and communicate pertinent information to the next shift and Allied Universal supervision.
