About The Position

As a Security Officer - Dealership Reception Desk in Camden, NJ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Auto, and more. As a Front Desk Officer at an automotive location, you will welcome employees and guests, manage visitor check-in, issue badges, and support access control while monitoring cameras, alarms, and other security-related systems. You will respond to questions and incidents with clear communication, accurate reporting, and a service-first mindset. Requirements

  • Have 5+ years of security experience.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • CPR Certification is preferred.
  • Guard Card/License is preferred.
  • Customer Service Experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to visitors, employees, vendors and delivery drivers by carrying out site-specific policies, access procedures and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an automotive office location.
  • Staff the front desk by greeting and directing visitors, answering phones as assigned, and issuing visitor badges and/or temporary credentials according to site procedures.
  • Monitor lobby activity and security-related systems such as cameras, alarms and access control panels, and document observed issues for follow-up.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including contacting onsite management and/or emergency services when needed.
  • Complete required reports, incident documentation and shift logs accurately and on time, and communicate pertinent information to the next shift and Allied Universal supervision.
