Join Allied Universal at a fast-paced tech, media, and telecom location as a Front Desk Officer, where you will welcome employees and visitors, support access control and badging, monitor entry points, and respond to security-related concerns with calm, clear communication. You will use computer and/or tablet tools to document activity and assist with requests, reflecting our agile, reliable, and innovative approach, a caring culture that puts people first, and teamwork with integrity.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Having access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
Having customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Staff the front desk and serve as the first point of contact, greeting and directing visitors, answering phones, and providing general assistance.
Help manage facility access by verifying identification, issuing visitor credentials, and maintaining accurate visitor and/or vendor logs.
Monitor alarms, cameras, and other building systems from the front desk area and report irregular activity per site procedures.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating to site leadership and/or emergency services as needed.
Support a professional lobby environment by communicating expectations for entry, deliveries, and restricted areas in line with site policies.
Coordinate with onsite teams regarding scheduled guests, meetings, deliveries, and service calls, and communicate status updates to appropriate contacts.
Complete daily activity reports and other documentation, including incident reports and shift handoff notes, using required systems and formats.
Perform access control tasks such as checking badges at entry points near the lobby and assisting with lost badge procedures per site policy.
Assist with basic facility requests at the front desk, such as contacting building management, submitting work requests, and/or directing individuals to the appropriate resource.
